“Bootsy? Player of the Year” was released in February of 1978, certified gold on March 8, 1978, and reached a peak chart position of #16. This RIAA Gold Floater is the first presentation format for the time of certification.
Frankie “Kash” Waddy played drums with Bootsy (and his brother Phelps “Catfish” Collins) from the sixties on through several musical incarnations.
The personality of this award includes original backing paper and a damaged lower frame.
