Released 5/74 and certified gold on 7/26/74, “Diamond Dogs” peaked in the US charts at #5 (it went to #1 in the UK).
This award is presented to David Bowie. I have no provenance that it was actually his. It may have been made for a label or management executive, none the less it is a rare white matte artist presentation.
This backing paper has been changed and the wire hanging not yet replaced, but you can see the holes (about four inches down on each side) where it would have been.
