Vanilla Fudge, the band, has been cited as “one of the few American links between psychedelia and what soon became heavy metal.”  The band is known to have influenced The Nice, Deep Purple, Yes, Styx, and Led Zeppelin.

Vanilla Fudge, their first album, was released in the summer of 1967, and certified RIAA Gold on 7/23/68.
