Gold for The Beatles on Vee-Jay!
On August 23, 1964, Vee-Jay president Randy Wood presented the Beatles with gold records for five Vee-Jay releases. One of them was “Please Please Me,” shown here celebrated as an In-House award from Disc Awards Ltd.
