Blind Melon enjoyed critical and commercial success in the early 1990s and is best remembered for their 1993 single “No Rain”. The 1995 death of lead vocalist Shannon Hoon halted the band’s activity, and the members went on hiatus until officially disbanding in 1999.
Blind melon’s debut album was released September 14, 1992, certified platinum by the RIAA on August 26, 1993, and 2X platinum on December 17, 1993.
The R Hologram was the RIAA logo from 1990 to 1997, a period that saw continued customization of presentations in any style desired.
