Souther – Hillman – Furay (SHF), was a country rock supergroup led by singer-songwriters Richie Furay (Buffalo Springfield, Poco), Chris Hillman (The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Manassas), and J.D. Souther (Longbranch Pennywhistle, and noted songwriter for Linda Ronstadt and the Eagles).
Their first album (of two) was released in July 1974, certified RIAA Gold on 9/3/74, and peaked on Billboard at #11. It is celebrated here with an Authentic, First Presentation, First-State RIAA White Matte.
