Issac Hayes was one of the creative forces behind the music label Stax Records, where during the mid-60s he served both as an in-house songwriter, session musician, and record producer. Along with his writing partner David Porter, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2005 in recognition of writing many gold records, including the hit “Soul Man” recorded by Sam & Dave.
Live At Sahara Tahoe, was an acclaimed live double album released in May of 1973, and certified RIAA gold on 7/3/73. Here it is honored with an Authentic, First Presentation, First-State RIAA Gold “White Matte”…
